Joel Aaron is a multi talented drummer, arranger, producer and writer. Having done recording sessions for Lauryn Hill, Deluxe, Ars Nova, Joyride and many others, Joel brings a wealth of knowledge to the musical "round table."

Joel started drumming at the age of 10 and has studied extensively with Jay Bruno and Philly Joe Jones, among others. He attended the High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and thereafter, attended Temple and Berklee music schools. Joel started playing in and around the Philly area after college in the late 1980's and quickly became recognized as one of the go to drummers who had a great groove pocket and excellent feel.

During the 90's Joel traveled and toured with some great bands ranging from Ars Nova to Joyride. After years on the road and endless spot dates with various acts, he's found a perfect niche in the studios across the East Coast utilizing his excellent "feel" for some great artists who are both locally and nationally known.

Most recently he has been called upon to record for Larry Gold from Philadelphia who is best known for his work with The Roots, Jill Scott, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson, to name a few. Joel can be seen playing throughout the Tri State area and into New York, most recently with a great new band called Mama Winslow. Their first CD is out now and there are lots of live shows coming to a venue near you!!!
